Virtual services differ from traditional in that all of our communication happens via Face-time/ Audio Call/ Whats App or Zoom. I will not be there in person, but you still get the benefit of having one on one emotional support, my experience and wisdom to walk you through what you are experiencing.

Pregnancy Support
After you hire me, I am here for support throughout your pregnancy, every step of the way. I am available via phone, email and text to answer any questions or concerns you might have during this exciting time. This includes providing education, information to help you plan and prepare for birth and your baby, monthly pregnancy related emails/text, and recommendations for trusted community resources. You can stop all the Google searches! This makes the journey so much more enjoyable.

Prenatal Meeting
During this virtual prenatal meeting we will talk about your options for labor and birth, explore your preferences and goals, discuss your needs and desires for labor support, and I will help you create a birth plan that reflects your vision for your birthing-day.

Labor and Birth Support
You may wonder what we can accomplish with virtual support doula support–and the answer is ALOT! Virtual support will be provided by phone, text and video, beginning in early labor through the birth of your baby.
I will remind you of the normal parts of the process, recommend positions and tips to help your labor progress, give ideas for comfort and pain relief and extra encouragement for you and your partner.
Have help advocating for your wishes, I can provide you with information for decision making, help troubleshoot any unexpected bumps, and help you navigate your birth experience.

Postpartum Follow-up
After you settle in at home as a new family, we will have one follow-up video session to talk about how you are doing both physically and emotionally, and to process your birth experience.
We will also talk about how breastfeeding is going, and I will answer any newborn care questions you may have. I can provide referrals to trusted community resources if needed as well.
